AEP Foundation Presents Major Gifts
to Fort Wayne Organizations
Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) announced a $150,000 gift made to Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity on behalf of the AEP Foundation, which is funded by American Electric Power (NYSE:AEP) and its utility operating units. The AEP Foundation gift will be used to assist Habitat with the relocation and restoration of a new ReStore facility.

AEP´S COOK UNIT 2 REFUELING BEGINS FOLLOWING STRONG FUEL CYCLE PERFORMANCE
American Electric Power’s (NYSE:AEP) Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 2 was safely shut down early Wednesday to begin a refueling outage. During the just-completed 18-month fuel cycle, Unit 2 operated at a 99.8 percent capacity factor and generated 13,001 gigawatt-hours (GWH) of electricity, just shy of the Cook site record of 13,224 GWH.

COOK PLANT SIREN TEST TO RUN FULL THREE MINUTES ON APRIL 4
The regularly scheduled first Saturday of the month test of the Cook Nuclear Plant early warning siren system will include an extended sounding of the sirens in April. Siren tests typically last for about one minute, but on April 4 the plant will perform an annual full three-minute sounding as part of a new required testing regime for the upgraded siren system.

INDIANA REGULATORS APPROVE I&M
RATE SETTLEMENT WITH MODIFICATIONS
The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) has approved the Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) rate settlement agreement with a few modifications. The Commission’s order authorizes I&M to increase revenue from its Indiana customers by $41.6 million, or approximately 4.58 percent. For a typical residential customer using 1000 kilowatt-hours per month it will mean an increase of $5.16 per month for electricity.
