AEP Generation Resources Seeks Bids For Coal

COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 2, 2015 – AEP Generation Resources (AEPGR), a competitive company within American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP), is seeking offers for the supply of coal to one or more of its generating stations.

AEPGR is seeking spot delivery proposals for coal, FOB barge, beginning in the third quarter of 2015 and ending in the fourth quarter of 2015. In addition, AEPGR is seeking term proposals for coal, FOB barge, beginning in the first quarter of 2016 and lasting a term of up to three years. AEPGR is open to alternative pricing structures or other innovative, value-added concepts. Proposals with alternative terms will be accepted. Accepted bids will be at AEPGR’s discretion.

Proposal packages must be received by AEPGR no later than 5 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2015.
