Showing up for our communities is something we strive to do, especially when these are the neighborhoods our team lives and works in. To have the opportunity to serve our neighbors is special and for the second time in a matter of weeks, members of our made an impact that means more than they know. 

Toward the end of April, a team from our Muncie area came together to help at a pair of build sites for the Greater Muncie Habitat for Humanity. This May, the opportunity was passed on to our Fort Wayne team. I&M volunteers paired with the Greater Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity to help install siding at a build site on the southeast side of the city. Though the project focused on building trades, volunteers are encouraged to join despite skillset. Responsibilities are taught through the course of the day to ensure volunteers have a fulfilling time on the job site.

Habitat for Humanity believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. Through volunteer labor and donations, new builds are repaired homes are available for partner families to purchase through no-profit, no-interest mortgage loans or innovative finance methods.
