The start of a new school year brings a rush of activity before the first bell rings. From buying supplies to registering for classes and coordinating transportation plans – the to do list can seem daunting. For some local families, a trip to the Super Shot Clinic in Fort Wayne checked an important item off their back-to-school list. 

To help students and their families get ready for the year ahead, Super Shot hosted an event offering required school immunizations. The late July event featured trucks from our fleet parked for a touch-a-truck experience as well as the return of Louie the Lightning Bug, I&M’s mascot, to Fort Wayne. Several other activities from local organizations were available for the young audience, but Louie stole the show for both the kids and adults in attendance.

The first 100 children to receive their vaccinations at the event could also claim their free backpack with school supplies, provided by Super Shot.
